Dr Jamie Finney
Veterinary Surgeon
MVB, GPCert (FelP) MRCVSJamie qualified in 2002 from University College Dublin and started her veterinary career with the Willows Veterinary Group at one of our surgeries in Warrington. She transferred to our main Hospital in Northwich to advance her skills before becoming Practice Manager at Abbeycroft. Jamie completed her General Practitioner in Feline Practice qualification in 2008. She has a keen interest in feline medicine and was instrumental in getting Cat Friendly Practice status for Abbeycroft.

Joel Elcoat
Head Nurse
RVN Cert VNESJoel has been in the veterinary medicine industry for over 20 years, beginning his career in 2003 as kennel staff and working his way up to a Registered Veterinary Nurse. He now has over 10 years of Head Vet Nurse experience. Joel holds a certificate in exotic species and is passionate about husbandry and welfare of exotics.
In his spare time, Joel is an avid gamer and reader, frequently having gaming competitions with his son.

Louise Mainwaring
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNLouise qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008. Since then, she has gained a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. She is highly experienced, having worked in general practice, referral hospitals and emergency clinics. She has a holistic approach to nursing and particularly enjoys improving the quality of life for geriatric animals. Louise has two gorgeous Labradors called Hunter and Stanley. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling and has completed in several long-distance cycling events.

Rebecca Thornton
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNRebecca has been an important part of our team since 2013 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2019. She really enjoys her role and the fact that no two days are the same. She has recently completed further studies in anaesthesia. She owns a cheeky but adorable Jack Russell Terrier Cross called Lottie and they recently took part in a sniffer dog course, achieving a gold certificate with a distinction.

Natasha Jackson
Veterinary Care Assistant
Natasha joined our team in December 2022. She has a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Zoo Biology. Natasha started her veterinary nurse training in September 2023 and is currently in her 2nd year. She has a loving and lively English Springer Spaniel called Chester.

Chloe Burgess
Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist
Chloe joined our team in August 2024 with the view of training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
She graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc in Animal Management, Health and Welfare in 2020. Once completing her degree, Chloe lived in Queensland, Australia before coming back to the UK to further her career. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and doing yoga.
