  • Jamie - Abbeycroft

    Dr Jamie Finney

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MVB, GPCert (FelP) MRCVS

    Jamie qualified in 2002 from University College Dublin and started her veterinary career with the Willows Veterinary Group at one of our surgeries in Warrington. She transferred to our main Hospital in Northwich to advance her skills before becoming Practice Manager at Abbeycroft. Jamie completed her General Practitioner in Feline Practice qualification in 2008. She has a keen interest in feline medicine and was instrumental in getting Cat Friendly Practice status for Abbeycroft.

  • Esme Crocker - Abbeycroft

    Dr Esme Crocker

    BVetMS MRCVS

    Esme graduated from Harper and Keel Veterinary School in 2025 as part of their pioneering cohort, shortly after she joined our team here at Abbeycroft Vets. She has a keen interest in small animal surgery and medicine, with a particular enjoyment of her elective in feline medicine. She has a cheeky elderly Jack Russell called Jake and enjoys travelling to new places in her spare time.

    Joel has been in the veterinary medicine industry for over 20 years, beginning his career in 2003 as kennel staff and working his way up to a Registered Veterinary Nurse. He now has over 10 years of Head Vet Nurse experience. Joel holds a certificate in exotic species and is passionate about husbandry and welfare of exotics.

    In his spare time, Joel is an avid gamer and reader, frequently having gaming competitions with his son.

  • Rebecca - Abbeycroft

    Rebecca Thornton

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Rebecca has been an important part of our team since 2013 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2019. She really enjoys her role and the fact that no two days are the same. She has recently completed further studies in anaesthesia. She owns a cheeky but adorable Jack Russell Terrier Cross called Lottie and they recently took part in a sniffer dog course, achieving a gold certificate with a distinction.

  • Natasha - Abbeycroft

    Natasha Jackson

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Natasha joined our team in December 2022. She has a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Zoo Biology. Natasha started her veterinary nurse training in September 2023 and is currently in her 2nd year. She has a loving and lively English Springer Spaniel called Chester.

  • Chloe - Abbeycroft

    Chloe Burgess

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Chloe joined our team in August 2024 with the view of training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

    She graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc in Animal Management, Health and Welfare in 2020. Once completing her degree, Chloe lived in Queensland, Australia before coming back to the UK to further her career. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and doing yoga.

  • Emily - Abbeycroft

    Emily Window

    Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist

    Emily studied Animal Management at Reasheath College, graduating in June 2025, and completed placement in our Broom Cottage practice. She has had a love of animals since a young age, from the age of 10 Emily has been volunteering at an equine center where she found a love for horses. At home, she has a grumpy Border Terrier called Fergus.
