    Dr Jamie Finney

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MVB, GPCert (FelP) MRCVS

    Jamie qualified in 2002 from University College Dublin and started her veterinary career with the Willows Veterinary Group at one of our surgeries in Warrington. She transferred to our main Hospital in Northwich to advance her skills before becoming Practice Manager at Abbeycroft. Jamie completed her General Practitioner in Feline Practice qualification in 2008. She has a keen interest in feline medicine and was instrumental in getting Cat Friendly Practice status for Abbeycroft.

    Stacey Smith

    Head Nurse

    RVN PHC

    Stacey qualified in 2013 and gained her Pet Health Counsellor qualification in 2016. Stacey also holds a Clinical Coach qualification and coaches our student nurses in practice. She has worked at Abbeycroft since 2007 and has a special interest in rabbit care and hosts our rabbit clinics. Stacey owns an indoor Birman Cat called Margaret who rules the house.

    Louise Mainwaring

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Louise qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008 at Myerscough College. Since then she has gained a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. She is highly experienced, having worked in general practice, referral hospitals and emergency clinics. She has a holistic approach to nursing and particularly enjoys improving the quality of life for geriatric animals. Louise has a gorgeous Labrador called Hunter, who was actually a withdrawn guide dog as a pup! In her spare time, she competes in Canicross with him.

    Rebecca has been a part of our team since 2013 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2019. She really enjoys her role and the fact that no two days are the same. She has a special interest in medical nursing.She owns a cheeky but adorable Jack Russell Terrier called Lottie.

    Natasha Jackson

    Veterinary Care Assistant

    Natasha joined our team in December 2022. After previously working as a veterinary receptionist elswhere, she would now like to become a qualified veterinary nurse. Natasha is due to start her training in September 2023 to further her carrer in veterinary nursing. Natasha has a lively springer spaniel called Chester.

    Judith Fairhurst

    Receptionist (Part-Time)

    If you pop in to see us on a Saturday, it is very likely you will meet Judith! She is a very experienced receptionist that absolutely adores animals. Judith joined our team in 2019, she owns a very cheeky Maltese cross Poodle who has bags of energy and loves everyone! Judith has achieved her British Veterinary Receptionist Association Bronze Award and her Competent Vet Dispenser Award
